Join Us: Together, We Race for the Cure
In life, there are battles we never expect to fight. Breast cancer was mine. It’s a journey I never imagined, but it’s one I’ve faced with courage, resilience, and unwavering support. Today, I stand here as a survivor—not just for myself, but for everyone who has fought, is fighting, and will fight this disease.
This year, my team and I are uniting for the 2025 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to raise funds, awareness, and hope for a world without breast cancer. Our team’s mission is personal, and it’s powerful. Together, we honor survivors, celebrate the memory of loved ones, and fight for a future where no one hears the words, “You have breast cancer.”
Why We Race
This cause is close to my heart. My journey began in October 2023 when I was diagnosed with Stage 1, Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Thanks to early detection and aggressive treatment, I became a survivor in March 2024. But the fight didn’t end there—it continues for my daughters, who carry the same genetic mutations that led to my diagnosis, and for countless families around the world who are battling this disease.
It’s also in memory of my grandmother, Mollie, who lost her brave battle with metastatic breast cancer in October 2024. Her strength and resilience inspire me every day. I walk in her honor, knowing she’d want us to fight with everything we have to save others.
