Next week, I get the all-clear to return to normal activity after my latest procedure—and I couldn’t be more grateful to start running again. It’s been a long, emotional road, but thanks to incredible doctors, unwavering support from friends and family, and the grace of God, I’m healing and hopeful of no return of cancer.
This year, the Race for the Cure means more to me than ever. I’ll be running not just for myself, but for every person affected by breast cancer—those still fighting, those we’ve lost, and those celebrating survivorship. My friend and running partner, Emily Bricker purchased my race bib for me and will be running right along side of me. Thanks Em!
