In January this year I was diagnosed with Triple Negative IDC Breast Cancer and started my treatment journey through which I have had 16 chemotherapy infusions and a bilateral mastectomy. I am currently still on this journey as I continue with immunotherapy and embark on 5 weeks of daily radiation.
I am so entirely grateful to have had such amazing care and support from my doctors, family, friends and fellow survivors. The care I have been lucky enough to receive has been built on the back of years of research and testing supported by organizations like Susan G. Komen.
