My Story
Welcome to my personal fundraising page for the Komen Chicago Board team!
As local board members, we are mission and advocacy partners, each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in our ONE mission to end breast cancer forever. We strive to be champions in the Chicago community and many of us have personal connections to breast cancer with wives, mothers, sisters, friends and family members who have been impacted by this disease which is the most common cancer among women in the U.S. Our Komen Chicago Board comprises of leaders in our respective vocations including accounting, banking, consulting, education, finance, healthcare, human resources, law and marketing.
We are excited to participate in the Race for the Cure 5K run/walk to be held September 28th at Soldier Field and the beautiful Chicago lakefront. The money raised will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, treatment assistance and so much more.
We're stronger together. United as ONE, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
