We are Liz’s Angels.
Back in Oct 2022 while performing a routine beast exam in her shower Liz found a mass that wasn't there before. She didn't go to the doctor about it until January 19th 2023 mainly because she wasn't sure of how Houston's medical system worked being from California.
Once there, the doctor advised that she felt exactly what Liz felt and wanted her to go for a mammogram and ultrasound.
Fast forward, Liz was then sent to a surgical oncologist who requested that I get a biopsy and MRI.
That biopsy came back positive for Breast Cancer.
As anyone would be, Liz was broken, confused, and above all, hurt. But God spoke to her and told her that everything would be fine.
Liz began to inform her family and close friends but kept this battle pretty much silent. Her Breastie Shannon shared with her the day she underwent surgery that she was recently diagnosed as well!
Liz thought her road was going to be an easy one since everything was looking so good after surgery but life gave her another 1-2 punch and said she would need to go through Chemo!!!
14 rounds of chemotherapy later; and Liz is CANCER-FREE!!
We walk to celebrate her story, her journey and most of all our love & support of her.
