As many know, my deceased wife Debbie Scanlon was passionate about defeating breast cancer following my mother and cousin’s diagnosis with the disease. She worked tirelessly as a participant, volunteer, board member and eventually became Chairman of the Houston Komen affiliate.
In 2023, I decided I was going to honor Debbie’s memory by becoming the Number 1 fund raiser in Houston, and Number 3 in the United States for the charity she was most passionate about.
I moved to Napa, CA during 2024, making it difficult to attend the Komen fundraising efforts, but I am returning one final year the Race for the Cure and hope to continue helping in the future from afar.
