20+ years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had amazing treatment with the best doctors and nurses, and had the support of my loving family and fabulous friends. After my treatment, I signed up for the NYC Komen Race for the Cure, to help me move from being a patient to feeling normal. I have walked in all the Races since, so this September will be Race #20.
