This year, I joined the ONE Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen RACE FOR THE CURE in memory of my beloved wife, Melody Alexander. Melody was a beacon of joy and strength, whose unwavering faith and boundless love touched everyone she met. Her legacy of selflessness and compassion continues to inspire us.
This year, our family faced an unimaginable loss as Melody bravely battled breast cancer for two years before passing away in May. She was not just a wife and mother but the spiritual leader of our family.
