I walk in memory of my Memaw, who bravely faced cancer twice. Her final battle was with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, the same type I was diagnosed with two years before. She knew firsthand how tough chemo was on my body, yet she instilled in me the determination to overcome this disease. It was an honor to attend her doctor appointments and support her during her fight. I also walk for my aunt and friends who have faced this fight with incredible grace and tenacity.
