My story is unusual. Typically people join because of a mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, etc., but I am passionate about Komen's ONE mission because of my father. Breast cancer is rare in men, accounting for less than 1% of all breast cancer diagnoses. My father won his battle with cancer, but most men are not as fortunate.
October 17th - 23rd is Men's Breast Cancer Awareness Week.
