Thirteen years ago I raced for the cure as a 4-month survivor in the middle of chemo. I was bald and suffering. My family was by my side. The sea of pink lifted my spirits. We have met hundreds of cancer survivors and loved ones since. Too many names to share here.
On behalf of Leadership Vision, I invite you to join our team to Race for a Cure on Saturday morning, May 11 at the Viking Lakes facility. When the Schubrings Race for a Cure, we wear ridiculous amounts of pink and walk the course together.
We are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their ONE mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money raised will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, treatment assistance and so much more.
