On March 20, 2024, my beautiful sister was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. After discovering a lump during a self exam and a flurry of tests and appointments to follow, Katie is now on a road to recovery. We are hopeful and remaining positive, as we know treatment for breast cancer has come such a long way. We are quickly learning about the power of research and we hope that in our fundraising efforts, we can help others get the same care that we know Katie will be receiving.
