In August I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and my world was turned upside down. I've had surgery to remove the tumor, I am in the thick of chemotherapy, and I still have radiation, medications, and maybe even another surgery to "look forward to." While I have jogged the Susan G. Komen 5k once before, it wasn't for me and I wasn't intimately familiar with the fight. Now I'm doing it again to celebrate me and to fight for a better future/treatment/cure for my girls.
