I'm a ONE YEAR OLD Survivor - Because of Komen!

Today, I stand here as a survivor.

A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with Stage 1a Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I was diagnosed at a routine mammogram that I faithfully get every year. If it weren't for this test and all the research, testing and treatments developed because of Komen, I'm not sure where I'd be today.

But, because of this amazing foundation and Race for the Cure, I am here today, healthy and cancer free.

Please consider making a donation to my fundraising efforts to help support WOMEN (and men too!) and to find new ways to remove the words BREAST CANCER from our vocabularies.

And PS... always always get your mammogram. That little "squish" can save your life, it saved mine :)
