In October of 2020, I was diagnosed with stages 0 and 1 breast cancer, but God!! In 2023, I decided to join the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I registered as a team of one (individual) and went alone. I saw a number of people I know personally and professionally who were there in support of and/or memory of someone. As a breast cancer survivor, this event hit a little differently, but the atmosphere was charged with faith, love, hope and inspiration.
This year, I decided to ask friends and colleagues, quite a few who are also survivors, to join me (and the ONE Komen community) for the Susan G. Komen Triangle Race For The Cure.
