I hate breast cancer! I lost my daughter Krista to this hideous disease and have made it my mission to do whatever I can to save lives. Every 14 seconds, somewhere in the world, a case of breast cancer is diagnosed -- a sobering statistic. I am asking for your help in this fight to save lives.

I will be joining hundreds of walkers in the Susan G. Komem 1-Day.). I have committed to raise a minimum of $1000.00 in donations and will walk *approx 1-2 miles. I am demonstrating my determination in finding a cure for breast cancer. A cure, sadly did not arrive in time to save Krista’s life, but I am hopeful that in the future other lives can be saved.

Since 2003, the Komen 3-Day has raised more than $900 million—which Komen has used to save lives and make huge strides in breast cancer research. The funds raised have helped Komen‘s mission to save lives from breast cancer, by investing more than $33.5 million in breakthrough research. Komen is the world’s largest breast cancer organization.

I am joining with my 1-Day team, called K’s Leopards {Krista just loved her leopard prints from head to toe}, in hosting a fundraising event. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this fundraising event will support me and my team members participation in the Komen 1-Day taking place May 12, 2024 in Bensalem, PA I know this is Mother’s Day but It is near Krista’s birthdate May 8, and I also brought her home from the hospital on Mother’s Day 44 years ago.
