My Story
I am a two-time breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Infiltrating Duct Carcinoma, stage 1, hormone positive breast cancer in the right breast in October 2002 at the age of 41. On October 26, 2021, the cancer returned, and I was diagnosed with Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia, stage 1 (calcium) in the left breast at the age of 60. I'm here by God's Grace and Mercy. God is Good! He is not through with me yet. I have truly been Blessed and Highly Favored.
I'm dedicated to Komen's mission to end breast cancer forever. That's why I signed up for the 2024 DMV Tri-State MORE THAN PINK Walk.
