As you may know, last year was a very difficult time in my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer right before Thanksgiving in 2022 and spent 2023 with so many doctors appointments and surgeries, I lost count.  

Through my journey and my battle, God never left my side and neither did my daughter, who gave up so much to come home and be there for every doctor's appointment, every surgery, every late night, tears, worries, highs and lows. I am truly blessed and grateful for the unconditional love and strength that she brought to the table every single day. 

Joining the Komen community and registering for the MORE THEN PINK Walk is something that was really important to me and my daughter started our team in my honor, But God Can, as she knows how I need to be a part of this community and join the countless other women traveling on this journey this September.
