A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with stage two ER/PR positive, Her2 neg invasive lobular carcinoma. Hug a mammogram machine, they save lives! After surgery and 20 rounds of radiation I'm cancer free. I'll continue with frequent screenings and medications to reduce the estrogen in my body for several years. I'm dedicated to living a healthier lifestyle. With diet, exercise and giving up alcohol, I lost 45 pounds and feel great! No one wants to hear the words "it's cancer", but thanks to screenings and early detections survival rates for many are high ! Let's keep fighting for advancements in breast cancer treatment !
