I am participating in the More Than Pink Walk this year with a group of my fellow union sister's. I can't be more thankful to them all for being so eager to walk for such a great cause. As most of you know, I am a breast cancer survivor. However, it is always lurking in my mind that it may return due to the fact that the type I had is usually a recurring one. Finding a cure is of utmost importance to me so that no woman ever has to live with that kind of fear. Even if it doesn't help me me, it may help our daughters, granddaughters, and all other women in the future. Being a part of that cure in any way is an honor and a privilege.
