My Story
This year, I joined the ONE Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's ONE mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
My name is Christen Lehmann and I am a survivor. My journey began when I felt a lump in my breast. I made an appointment with my doctor but she didn’t feel what I was feeling. I went home assuming I was just being paranoid. Several months later I felt another lump under my armpit. This time when I went back we decided to proceed with a mammogram and ultrasound. That is when my life changed. It has been a crazy, long journey. Going through chemo, then surgery followed by radiation. I would not have gotten through it and remained positive if it wasn’t for the support of my friends and family and the Komen group. My goal now is to raise awareness that breast cancer DOES happen in young people. It isn’t enough to rely on your doctor, you must advocate for yourself. Please help spread the word by joining my team.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
