I AM A SURVIVOR! The past 17 months have been very trying to put it politely. I’ve recently completed my last treatment and I am ready to celebrate my life, my ability to beat this ugly disease and support those that come after me. 

I wish to be a light for someone faced with the same challenges. Last year’s walk encouraged me to find HOPE. I can only wish to offer the same to a fellow survivor or their caregiver, family member, spouse or friend. 

No one can prepare you for the journey that comes with battling cancer. It impacts your mind, body and spirit. We can, however, take a pause in our busy lives to boost each other up, support one another and work together! 

Today, I am GRATEFUL to be alive, back to good health, and have many blessings in my life. I can taste food again, my hair isn’t falling out in the shower and I can walk upstairs on my own. This is exceptional progress!! Thank YOU for caring to make my life a more meaningful place!
