I walked last year without even knowing I had breast cancer.  3 weeks after the walk I got a call from my surgeon while I was shopping in Target that my biopsy came back positive - I had ductal carcinoma in situ.  While it wasn’t invasive - it would require a mastectomy and I elected a double with reconstruction.  I knew the road would be rough, but one I knew I could tackle with the support of family and friends.  5 months and 3 surgeries later - I am cancer free and strong AF.  I won't stop sharing my story and supporting all things pink.
