As a preteen I watched my grandmother go through aggressive and debilitating treatment for breast cancer. Over the past 30 years, Susan G. Komen has invested in cutting edge research to better treat breast cancer patients and lessen the horrific effects of chemotherapy and radiation. I am fundraising for the San Diego MORE THAN PINK Walk to continue Komen's work in funding research and finding better therapies for breast cancer patients!
