My Story
My cancer journey started in November of 2018 just a few months after turning 34 years old. Unfortunately, I didn't have any symptoms until the cancer had already spread from my breast to my liver, both lungs, and one bone. Since it spread, I was diagnosed with metastatic (stage 4) breast cancer. I've been on many different treatments over the last 5.5 years and I will be on some sort of cancer treatment for the rest of my life.
I've endured a lot of pain, exhaustion, depression, and anxiety through all of this but I've also gained a lot of new friendships and a new outlook on life. I now try to embrace any silver lining that I can find and do whatever I can to take advantage of my good days when they come.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal for the Susan G Komen MORE THAN PINK walk this year. Funds raised help support groundbreaking research and provide financial assistance to people just like me! If I raise at least $1,000 it could even support an oncologist running a clinical trial! Those trials keep many MBC Thrivers like me alive!!!!!
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
