My Story
As a 5 year breast cancer survivor, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its mission is near and dear to my heart. This disease has impacted several of my family members and friends. This year, another one of my friends is battling as we speak. She is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She is an amazing nurse who has dedicated her life to caring for others. Now it is our turn to make sure she has the support and resources she needs to win this battle. This year I will be walking in her honor.
