I walk because I know that many women would not have access to medical imaging and care without the support of Susan G. Komen events.  As a survivor of breast cancer, I know that the treatment and surgeries that I experienced were impacted by research that took place long before my diagnosis.  

I walk because I hope for a future where my daughters and granddaughter don't have to worry about breast cancer because it is more easily diagnosed and cured.  

I am only one person but I walk for everyone.
