This team represents and supports the millions of women who have been impacted and will be impacted by Breast Cancer. This team specifically represents the women and families who are a part of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pajamas!

This Sisterhood began with a connection to two amazing survivors in New Orleans who both went to the Center for Reconstructive Breast Surgery and offered to mentor and guide Jess Hendrix through her Breast Cancer, mastectomy, and recover journey. 

Kerri Caputo and Donna Maselli offered to share guidance, love and their recovery pajamas knowing how overwhelming the journey through breast cancer can be. These pajamas are specially designed for mastectomy and recovery - buttery soft with button up tops and pockets for drains. 

After surgery, both women asked Jess to simply give the pajamas to the next woman going through the unimaginable. Since that time, the pajamas have been on many adventures including Arkansas, Iowa, and Ohio where they've provided other women comfort on their journey.  And this is how the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pajamas began! 

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their  mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
