My Story
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Of course this mission is significant to me because of my recent battle against breast cancer. At the age of 35 years old and being a nurse practitioner bringing awareness and supporting the breast cancer fight is pivotal to my life now. Although I wouldn't wish it on anyone, it certainly was an eye opener on how difficult it is to be a patient! Even with my vast connections in healthcare it was hard to navigate. If I can help in anyway ease the burden breast cancer places on individuals, I will!
Fore the Girls NWA is a women's golf and social club that I am co-founder of. Our mission is to make golf welcoming, accessible, and transformative for life for every woman who wants to play golf. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 and we want to help in any way we can!
