Some people leave a lasting impact simply by the way they live.

Shaina Fenn is one of those people.

She leads with kindness, puts others before herself, and has spent countless moments lifting up those around her. Today, we have the opportunity to stand beside her with the same love and encouragement she has so generously shared with others.

I'm proud to dedicate my participation in the 2026 Susan G. Komen Northwest Arkansas MORE THAN PINK Walk to Shaina.

Her courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit throughout her breast cancer journey remind all of us that hope is stronger when it's shared.

For me, this walk is personal in more ways than one.

Over the years, I've had family members, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and members of my community whose lives have been forever changed by breast cancer. I've had the privilege of standing beside many of them throughout their journeys - celebrating victories, offering encouragement during difficult days, and witnessing extraordinary courage in the face of uncertainty. Those experiences have strengthened my commitment to being an advocate for breast cancer awareness and to helping ensure that no one faces this disease alone.

That's why I continue to support Susan G. Komen and its mission to save lives through research, education, advocacy, and patient support. Every dollar raised and every step taken moves us closer to better treatments, earlier detection, and ultimately, a world without breast cancer.

As Team Captain of Shine with Shaina, my hope is that our team becomes more than participants in a walk. I hope we become ambassadors of hope, compassion, and action - raising awareness, inspiring others to get involved, and honoring every individual and family whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
