My Story
On July 29th, 2026 I lost a dear friend and colleague, Val, to breast cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband and precious 3-year-old daughter.
Along with my Trane family and Val's family and friends, I am taking part in the Susan G. Komen More Thank Pink Walk in memory of Val and in honor of all our loved ones impacted by breast cancer. We walk with hope, love, and a shared commitment to support the fight against this disease that touches so many lives.

Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
