My Story
In March 2025 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. A life altering piece of news for sure. I have undergone treatment for the last 12+ months and am doing well. It's been a fight for sure. As a family we already supported breast cancer research via the SideOut Foundation. But given that my diagnosis started with a right femur stabilization surgery; that has proven to be one of my most challenging issues, and that I need to continue to work hard on strengthening my leg and getting back to walking - it seemed perfect to sign up for a goal to walk a 5K that would motivate me to work hard and that also could do go for everyone else out there that is also dealing with breast cancer is some way.
So as I roll into my next decade on May 7th, my ask is either a nominal donation, for you to come and walk with me on November 1st or even before as I train, or both!
