Every year Lilly and I join the Susan Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in October. Many of you know this cause is very dear to my heart. 

In 2018 I lost my mom to stage 4 breast cancer after 3 very short months from diagnosis to her passing. I felt so helpless. There was nothing anyone could do to save her from this horrendous disease. It’s so heartbreaking that I lost my best friend and only parent, but also my daughter will never get the chance to meet her or have a grandma.  Not a day goes by that I don’t love and miss her sooo much.  

My aunt is also a cancer survivor and underwent a double mastectomy after receiving this heart wrenching diagnosis.  We are so lucky that she continued to be diligent in her screenings and it was identified in the early stages. 

This disease has significantly impacted my family and so so many others. My goal is to raise $500. I want to raise awareness, help find the cause and the cure. Please considering supporting me and my daughter. Too many moms, wives, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends have fallen victim to this disease.
