This is more than a walk for me!! This is an opportunity to stand beside me, celebrate my life, my survivorship, and the fact that I'm still here breast cancer free.

That's why I'm creating this team and walking in the MORE THAN PINK Walk with Susan G. Komen®.

I'm walking because I want my survivorship to mean more than just my own story. I want to use my story to help encourage and inspire someone else's. Every dollar we raise helps support breast cancer research and provides critical resources for people facing breast cancer today including education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance, and so much more.

Because truth be told,  I had to face something that changed my life forever. Something that forced me to fight for my health, my future, and my life.I could not have beat breast cancer alone. I had GOD, family, friends, doctors and an entire community behind me. I'm incredibly blessed to be here today as a survivor, but I know there are so many women and families still in the middle of their fight. It's going to take all of us.

I'm walking because I'm still here.

I'm walking for the women who are still fighting.

I'm walking for the families who are praying for more time.

And I'm walking for our future. A world where breast cancer is no longer something "WE" have to fear.
