Walking Together to Be MORE THAN PINK
One of the most reassuring things about my breast cancer diagnosis is that my cancer was caught early. My experience has also made me think about how different this journey can be for women who don't have the same access to screening, early detection, treatment, or support.
That is why, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in Los Angeles on October 25, 2026. I joined because I want to help make sure that other women have access to the resources and support they need when they hear the words, "You have breast cancer."
Funds raised through Komen help support breast cancer research and provide assistance to people facing breast cancer today—from emotional support through Komen's helpline, to financial assistance, to navigation services that help break down barriers to care.
I was fortunate to have access to excellent, comprehensive treatment. I want more women to have that same opportunity.
Will you join me by making a donation to my fundraiser?
Every contribution, large or small, brings us one step closer to a world without breast cancer. And if you aren't able to donate, sharing my fundraiser is another wonderful way to support us.
Thank you for walking alongside me—whether in person, through a donation, or simply by cheering us on. Your support means more to me than you know.
With gratitude,
Joanne
