In 2018, my life changed forever.

I was young when I heard the words no one ever expects to hear: "You have breast cancer." I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer, and suddenly, the life I knew felt like it had been turned upside down.

Chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries was one of the hardest things I have ever endured. Losing all of my hair, the symptoms, the exhaustion, feeling sick, the fear, the physical changes, and the emotional weight of it all.

There were moments when I felt completely broken, wondering if I would get the opportunity to live out the dreams, purpose, and plans I had for my life.

But somewhere in the middle of all that pain, God was writing a story.

And today, I am still here!! I am a survivor!! 

I want my testimony to reach someone else who is sitting in fear, someone who just heard the words "you have cancer," someone who is exhausted from treatment, someone who doesn't know how they're going to make it through another day.

I want them to know, You can.

That is why I am walking in the More Than Pink Walk.

If my experience can give one person hope, remind one woman that she isn't alone, or help someone believe that there is still life beyond their diagnosis, then every step is worth it.

My story didn't end with breast cancer.It became a testimony.
