I walk for my mom, a breast cancer survivor whose strength and resilience inspire me every day. Watching her fight and overcome this disease showed me the power of hope, early detection, and the importance of community support.
I also walk in memory of our dear colleague and friend, Wendy Lindsay, who we lost in 2023 to metastatic breast cancer. Wendy was a light in our lives—brilliant, compassionate, and full of grace. Her courage in the face of such a relentless illness continues to motivate me to advocate, raise awareness, and push for better research and treatments.
This walk is a way for me to honor both of them—and so many others—by turning grief into action and love into purpose. Every step we take together brings us closer to a world without breast cancer. I’m proud to lead our LAO team in this fight, and I’m grateful for every person who walks beside us.
