Breast cancer affects families, workplaces, and communities across Charlotte, including the professionals and students we serve at the Charlotte Alliance of Black Accountants. Many in our network have watched loved ones fight this disease, celebrate survivorship, or navigate the difficult moments that come with diagnosis and treatment. These experiences remind us how important early detection, education, and support truly are.

CABA stands with Susan G. Komen because we believe in the power of community and the importance of accessible care. We support the mission to advance research, provide resources, and ensure that every person facing breast cancer has the help they need. Health equity matters to us, and we know that awareness and advocacy save lives.

Joining the Komen Walk is our way of honoring survivors, supporting fighters, and remembering those we have lost. It is also our commitment to helping build a future where breast cancer is detected earlier, treated more effectively, and ultimately defeated.
