My Story
This walk isn’t just a mile count for us; it’s a journey through the hardest years of our lives, walked step-by-step together.
In 2023, breast cancer took my sweet daughter from us, leaving a hole in our hearts that will never fully heal. Then, in 2025, our world stopped all over again when my other daughter was diagnosed with the exact same disease. Facing that fear a second time as a mother was terrifying beyond words, but she fought with every ounce of strength she had—and today, I am so deeply grateful to say she is in remission.
On walk day, we will be side-by-side. We are walking in loving memory of one daughter, and in fierce celebration of the other. We walk for the loss that broke our hearts and the hope that saved us.
Every single step we take is dedicated to funding research, advancing early detection, and supporting families facing this devastating diagnosis. No mother should ever have to watch one child fight this disease, let alone two.
If you are able to donate to our team, please know that your generosity directly supports lifesaving research so that fewer families have to experience this pain, and more daughters can walk into remission. Any amount—large or small—means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for honoring my daughter’s memory, supporting our journey, and helping us bring an end to breast cancer.
