This will be my second year walking in the Komen community, and it’s something I hold close to my heart as I walk in honor of my sweet cousin, Samantha. 

Samantha was incredibly brave and strong throughout her journey. She openly shared her experience on YouTube to help others who were battling cancer, as well as those supporting a loved one through their own cancer journey, feel less alone. She created a space where people could find comfort, understanding, and a sense of community during what can be an incredibly difficult and isolating time.

I’m so grateful for the way she used her voice and her own experience to help others. As I walk in her honor, I aspire to carry her spirit with me—to always walk with the same courage, compassion, and grace that she showed throughout her life.

The funds we raise will support breast cancer research and provide resources and assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support.
