My Story
I went through surgeries, countless appointments, and radiation, often walking into those moments alone. There were days filled with fear, questions, and uncertainty, but I learned to take it one day at a time. Even when I didn’t feel strong, I kept going.
But I also know that I could never have gotten through it without the love and support of the people around me. Even when they couldn’t physically be by my side, their calls, messages, encouragement, prayers, and constant love reminded me that I was never truly alone. Their support gave me strength on the days when I had very little left to give.
That season taught me that strength doesn’t always look like having all the answers. Sometimes, strength is simply getting up, showing up, and choosing to keep moving forward. And sometimes, strength comes from the people who believe in you when you’re struggling to believe in yourself.
Today, I look back with gratitude. My journey wasn’t easy, but it reminded me of how resilient the human spirit can be—and how powerful love and support can be. I’m still here, still standing, and still moving forward. And that, in itself, is something worth celebrating.
Now, I’m asking you to be part of my next step. Help me give back and help others facing their own difficult journeys. You can support me by making a donation or joining me for the walk. Every donation, every step, and every bit of support makes a difference. Together, we can walk for hope, strength, and a future where no one has to face this journey alone.
