One year after my breast cancer surgery, I walked the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk alone. Looking back, that walk reflected so much more than my cancer journey—it symbolized my first year rebuilding my life on my own. Rather than feeling lonely, I felt free. Free from illness, free from what no longer served me, and ready to embrace a new chapter. Adversity has a way of revealing our strength and helping us grow.

Since that first walk, I've never walked alone again. Each year, friends and family have joined me in celebrating survivorship, hope, and the power of community.

This year, my co-captain and fellow survivor and I hope to make our team bigger than ever. We'd love for you to join The Knowckout Crew as we walk together on October 17, 2026 in Boston. Whether you're walking in honor, in memory, or in support of those affected by breast cancer, your presence means more than you know. We hope you'll walk with us.
