Our Story

When you are diagnosed with cancer, your life, and those closest to you, change in ways you could never imagine. I am so fortunate to have such an amazing #RackPack that never once left my side - physically and emotionally. They just continuously showed up...with food, cards, funny gifts with boobs on them, they took care of my cats, watched movies with me, cleaned, cooked, did laundry...I could go on. 

When you have a group of people this wonderful, who were there for all the low points, you celebrate the high points even more! I am now 1 year cancer free, and that's something to celebrate!! 


Why Do We Walk?
We walk because we are physically able. 

We walk to raise awareness and early detection. I continue to meet women who do not get screening done as soon as insurance will cover it. 

We walk to support research. I was fortunate to have the best care possible at Mass General; the next generation should receive even more advanced prevention and care.
