Anyone who knows my daughter  Leah, knows that she is a fierce fighter. She is strong, courageous, determined, and has faced this journey with a strength that continues to amaze all of us who love her.

Last year, we walked together in the Susan G. Komen Walk for Leah — to stand beside her, to honor her fight, and to support everyone whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

This year, on October 17, we will walk again. But this year will be even more meaningful because Leah will be giving her first speech at the walk. I cannot put into words how proud I am of her. To watch my daughter stand up and share her story after everything she has been through will be an incredibly emotional and powerful moment for all of us.
