My sister, my first best friend, was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2024 via a routine mammogram. She had a double mastectomy with full reconstruction in January of 2025. Thankfully, they got all the cancer but due to some complications with the reconstruction, she had two additional surgeries in the summer and fall of 2025. 

My sister is one of the strongest, fiercest, bad-asses out there. I have always known this about her and there is no way that breast cancer is going to change that. She is a fighter who does not back down. She is now fully healed and ready to share her story and I will be right by her side, supporting her all the way.

On Saturday, October 17th, we will be participating in the MORE THAN PINK Walk® in Boston. It is a day where we can all put aside everything else in our lives and share our space, our stories, our laughter, and our tears to raise money that saves lives. When we come together, we are part of a community of people ready to take action.
