I do the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk because breast cancer became deeply personal for me in 2022 when I was diagnosed and underwent surgery. At the same time, I was navigating other significant challenges in my life, which made the experience even more overwhelming. Along the way, I realized how many friends and family members were also impacted by similar diagnoses, reminding me that none of us walks this path alone.

The More Than Pink Walk is more than a fundraiser to me—it feels like a hug from a community, a sisterhood of strength, resilience, and support. It’s a reminder that even during difficult moments, there are people who understand, stand beside you, and keep moving forward together. Walking is my way of honoring that support, celebrating survivorship, and showing up for others who may need that same sense of hope and connection.
