This year, Women at Eikon is excited to be partnering with Susan G. Komen® for our breast cancer awareness fundraising by forming teams on both coasts!

Breast cancer touches almost everyone! 1 in 8 women in the US will be diagnosed in their lifetime, and the American Cancer Society estimates 321,910 new cases and 42,140 deaths in 2026 alone (ACS). You likely already know someone, a mother, sister, friend, or colleague, who's faced this.

With oncology being one of our core areas of research day to day at Eikon, this cause hits close to home. Komen has invested nearly $1.1 billion in breast cancer research and delivered 104,000+ patient navigation services and $31.9M+ in financial assistance since 2021, all funded by walks like this one.

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
