Why I walk....
I walk for many reasons. I have dedicated my career to ending breast cancer and I am honored to work for Susan G. Komen. This year, I dedicate my team, and my walk to my friend Desire. One of the strongest women I know, and a breast cancer survivor. In addition, I would like to honor Neci from the team Neci Never Quit, and my friend Kim Valeria Hunter Heard -who we recently lost. It is my honor to walk and dedicate my team to these amazing women who support me and Komen's mission to END BREAST CANCER.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
