This year, our family is walking for someone very special to us, my mom.

She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and while this journey is something none of us ever expected, she has faced it with so much strength, courage, and grace.

Breast cancer doesn't just affect the person receiving the diagnosis. It affects the entire family, the people who love her, worry about her, pray for her, laugh with her, and stand beside her through every appointment, every treatment, every hard day, and every victory.

So on October 17th, we're coming together to walk beside her, literally and figuratively. ð©·

Our team, Her Fight, Our Fight, is made up of family and friends who want my mom to look around that day and see just how many people are standing behind her. Her fight has become our fight. Her strength inspires us. Her courage reminds us to keep moving forward.

We're walking for my mom.

We're walking for every woman fighting breast cancer.

We're walking for the survivors.

We're walking for the families who stand beside them.

And we're walking for a future where no one has to hear the words, "You have breast cancer."
