In August 2024 I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (DCIS) and Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) breast cancers. The past two years have been a journey of surgery and treatment but I'm looking forward to celebrating my 2nd year cancer free on October 14th! The breast cancer cause became even more important to our family on July 13th this year, when my sweet Mom was diagnosed with DCIS. She is currently undergoing treatment and has a very favorable prognosis. This year I walk for both of us, my Aunt Vickie, and several friends in various stages of their cancer journey's.

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen®ï¸ in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
